MARS downtime this morning

We would like to apologize for the downtime on MARS server this morning, which was caused by a licensing issue which has now been fixed.

Network Issue – Atlanta 1 USA and Atlanta 2 USA

We are getting reports that some users are unable to reach our servers in Atlanta USA. This issue appears to be isolated to those routing through the pccwbtn network. Our network engineers are looking into this and are working with the Admins of the upstream provider to get this resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience and assure you that we are all over this and will update this post as soon as we have more information.

UPDATE

The report is that this is the result of a massive DDoS on our upstream provider. They are working on mitigating the attack at this time. We will update this post as soon as we have more information.

This issue is now resolved. We would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this incident, which was outside of our control.

Network Outage – Atlanta 2

Some network issues with an upstream provider at the Telx data-center in Atlanta caused 4 short breaks of service today, affecting our ATLAS server.

Atlas provides one of our monitoring services, back-up DNS and supplementary mail, so no customer web-sites were affected.
